Why do sizes differ between brands?

Riding gear is cut differently from brand to brand — a size L jacket from one manufacturer can fit like a M or an XL from another. Check the size chart on each product page rather than assuming your usual size carries over.

How does the size finder work?

Where enabled, our size finder matches your head circumference to the closest published band for the helmet types we stock. It's a starting point, not a guarantee — always check the specific helmet's own chart before you buy, since fit also varies by shell shape.

What do CE Level 1 and Level 2 mean?

CE Level 2 is the higher of the two impact ratings — it passes a stricter limit on transmitted force and is what we'd point you to for a back protector used for touring or track riding. CE Level 1 is still a certified rating, just with a higher permitted transmitted force; it's typically lighter and less bulky, suited to city riding.

What if a product has no protection rating?

We label it plainly as carrying no impact certification rather than implying a rating it doesn't have. If CE certification matters for your riding, filter the catalogue by protection level or check the product page before buying.
